Does anybody care what passes in my country?
My friends, women and men of my country, were beaten and arrested by the security forces because of their objection to discriminatory civic and labor laws. This was supposed to be a peaceful demonstration by women’s right activists.
I am so sad. What am I doing here? My sister was beaten brutally by a police woman, my friend has disappeared and I am here, Just crying and try to talk to someone in

Even Iranian are obsessed with football fever these days. Nobody pays attention to the other fever, the other patient.
I am so sad.

I am pretty shocked by some photos I saw , for someone outside Iran it is espescially seeing police women beating female protesters.
This week-end I talked to some friends about a book about your iranian blogscene how much I admire your courage to express your thoughts and opinions that way it can reach more people. The world Cup fever was getting on our nerves (in Hamburg, Germany) , espescially the national pride thing, something we do not feel, so we stayed where we were and this blog topic came up. I hope , someday your protests may change your country the way you want it to be. I appreciate much knowing about your country by your personal reports. Kolibri
Hello Sayeh,
I followed a link in Lady Sun's blog to your post. I live in the U.S., but I have a number of Iranian friends and I care what happens in Iran! I hope that your sister and your friend will both be ok. I think that the demonstrators are very brave people! I salute them and wish you all a better Iran in the future!

You are really brave- don't give up... I know it's difficult. In Europe everyone is obsessed with football as well, it really annoys me. Some of us do care about your situation. I am thinking of you all.
I am from the UK and i care about ALL women of the world. I have circulated links to individuals and also to Feminist Forums. Stay strong sister.
I'm Scandinavian.
The news were recently in Teheran to interview a female human rights activist. The subject is covered in articles in newspapers too.
We hear you. Keep up the fight.
WE CARE ABOUT YOU IN THE UNITED STATES. WE JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. I WILL PASS ON THE BLOG SITE TO ALL I KNOW. BE BRAVE AND TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF

I wonder if you know what happenned
to your friend right now and how you are doing. I hope you find the strength to keep on writing this blog and please just tell if you have any idea how people outside Iran can support you and other protesters.

I'm a student in the US. How can we help your movement ... other than spreading the word? Please give some information. Do you need funds? We could start a collection ... What can we do?
